Maritime Mayhem

Our class had to author and illustrate a piece regarding pirates in response to an exhibition that was held in the local art gallery. I chose to write and illustrate about sea monsters as I found it to be the most interesting aspect of pirate-hood. The main illustration and the spot illustrations were all done with watercolors and placed in the textured spread that was created with Photoshop. Now that I look back at it, I wish I could have done something to incorporate Monkey Island, a pirate-themed video game.
